UNIVERSITY OF OREGON WOMENS LACROSSE

 November 25, 2003

EUGENE, Ore. The University of Oregon will host a US Lacrosse Womens National Clinic on Sunday, February 8. Members of the 2003-2004 US Elite and Development Teams will be conducting the clinics at nine selected locations around the country.

Clinic registration forms are available online at www.walax.com

Registration forms must be filled out and mailed to the Oregon Womens Lacrosse office (2727 Leo Harris Parkway, Eugene, OR  97401) no later than Wednesday, January 28, along with the $25 registration fee.

Participants in the clinic must also be US Lacrosse members. Memberships can be activated online at https://www.lacrosse.org/members/reg/main.php or a membership form can be completed on the back of the clinic registration form.

The clinic will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with check-in beginning at 8:00 a.m., inside the Ed Moshofsky Sports Center, Oregons indoor practice facility next to Autzen Stadium.

All skill levels and ages are welcome to participate, however, the clinic will be geared primarily toward high school girls lacrosse players and ages. Any questions regarding participation or other clinic details can be directed to the Oregon Womens Lacrosse office via email at [email protected] or by phone at 541-346-5243 or 541-346-5492.

This will be the first time a national clinic has been held in the Northwest, a selection decision recognizing the importance of Oregons addition of womens lacrosse to its athletics department and the growth potential of the sport in the region as a result.

Additional information will be made available prior to the clinic date.
