2002: By a vote of 11-2, Western Washington was
expelled from the PNCLL for the 2003 season at the
leagues mandatory annual meeting in Tacoma last
weekend. According to sources at the meeting, this
was the second year in a row that Western had missed
the mandatory meeting and thus was voted out of the
league by the PNCLL team captains and
representatives.
The PNCLL is a participant in the US Lacrosse
Intercollegiate Associates. The
USLIA has grown dramatically over the
last few years to over 130 teams nationwide
competing in a virtual varsity manner.
