Sept 21,
2002: The second
annual Tom Foster Lacrosse Invitation Celebration
(13th overall) witnessed some great lacrosse action
and the birth of the Fighting Nutria, the new Eugene
Lacrosse Club mascot! This year's tournament
featured all seven B league teams as well as the Old
Growth club from the Seattle area. The weather was
gorgeous, the fields soft (thank god!), and the
lacrosse fun. Eugene hosted a Saturday night drink
up "on the terrace" at the Wild Duck and team
members all enjoyed themselves at the Eugene
Celebration in downtown Eugene.Tournament
