WOOF's Win Seattle Masters Tournament |

August 17,
2002:
WOOFs go 4-0 in weekend
action. The WOOFs, Huron and South Fraser had a
great time playing this weekend under nearly
perfect weather conditions and on a gorgeous field
at Cedar River Park in Renton. A special thanks
goes out to Aaron Koransky, Huron captain, for his
work on securing such a great field, refs and the
food for the BBQ. Each game consisted of two 25
minute halves with each team playing 2 games a day.
The WOOFs were solid at every position and were able
to put up some good offensive numbers while giving
up only 9 goals in 4 games. Some players hadn't
played in years but still showed some excellent
skills and speed. Thanks to our Canadian friends
for traveling all the way down to Renton this
weekend and for "finishing" off all of our leftover
beer!! A good time was had by all and we look
forward to the next matchup!
