UW Looking Good for '05
Just in from UW-
UW Lacrosse is slowly building up an
arsenal of talent right here in Seattle. This year, UW returns six
of its top seven scorers, led by a pair of Seniors, Middie Eric Weitz and
Attackman Eli Sonkin. The defense should be greatly improved with the
return of Seniors Kevin Bass and Pat Campbell and an influx of talented
Freshmen long-poles.
With two H.S. All-Americans in the
freshman class, Defenseman John Cote (Torrey Pines HS, CA) and
Middie Adam Sangeorzan (Seattle Prep) Huskies are hopefull they will lead
an impressive incoming class. Building on their existing coaching staff,
the Huskies have also added veteran coach Chris Long to the ranks, and
look to challenge University of Oregon and Simon Frasier this year for a
title shot. Walax.com will follow the Huskies throughout the season,
stay tuned for the home schedule!
