instruction and maximum repetitions.
The morning session will be spent reviewing,
learning, and building stick skills for all levels of play, followed
by small situational drills on the field.
The afternoon will start with strategies for team
defense and team offense which will be practiced in larger groups
before ending the day with game-like scrimmages.

Camp Instructors:
Head Coach: Kareen
Kreutziger
Kareen began her lacrosse career in
1992 playing defense as a freshman in high school in her home town
of Lexington, MA. She graduated Lexington High School (class of '96)
with three varsity letters in lacrosse (along with two in soccer and
one in basketball). The University of Rochester (Rochester, NY)
became Kareen's college home, where she played for four years as a
starting defender for every game of her career. She earned state and
regional recognition every year, culminating in her being named to
the National All-America Team in 2000 -- the first women's lacrosse
player from UR to gain such recognition. In addition, she was named
to the Academic All-American First Team for all spring athletes in
both 1999 and 2000 for her athletic and academic acheivement. Kareen
became a student assistant coach for the UR team during her fifth
year and graduated in 2001 with highest honors in biomedical
engineering. She moved to Seattle that summer to begin a PhD program
in Bioengineering at the University of Washington, which brought her
to this program. Kareen began coaching WWL in 2002 with co-coach
Vinca Swanson, when the team gained the title of League Champions.
Kareen continued as head coach in 2003 with assistant coach Sarah
Childers, coaching the WWL team to hold on to the league
championship title. Kareen is back this season to volunteer her time
as head coach and will play her third season with the Seattle
Women's Lacrosse Club Team.
Kim Martini
was the starting goalie for 4 years on the varsity lacrosse team at
the University of Albany in NY. The team went to the Div. II ECAC
championships in 1998. She holds the school's all-time record for
saves. Currently she is a graduate student in Oceanography at the UW
and plays with Seattle Women's Lacrosse.
