For those of you who knew Eric
Timmrick, he has been playing mens club in Seattle for more than six years.
A member of the Redhook team, Corillian team, Roanoke team and the Crease
Monkeys, everyone knows Timmrick's legendary e-mail talents. Some members
actually have a saved collection of his e-mails sent before games.
Timmrick moved to Ireland about a year ago with
his new wife Amy to help further the Microsoft cause. Timmrick did not
stop playing just because he moved overseas, and made the Irish National team
competing in the World Cup held this summer in London, Ontario.
The team will begin preparation for the games in
March and training camp will be held at Cornell University July 6-12. Exhibition
games are planned for New York City, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Fairfield and New
Canaan, CT; Long Island and Sackets Harbor, NY.
Since locals Hugh Barber and Matt Cone are also
coaching the Danish National team augmented by Dave "the Wunduh" Piechowski.
Since all of these folks have played on the same team before, it should make for
a bit of contentious fun. |
