The Eugene Lacrosse Club has been in existance since playing its first season in 1985. We are the keepers of the Lax flame from south of Portland to northern California.

Directions to Game Field

Our mission is twofold:

1) to give lacrosse players living in this area a way of continuing to compete in their favorite sport.

2) to educate the Eugene-Springfield and the southern Willamette valley communities about the game of lacrosse and so promote the sport in this area.

We welcome participation by anybody interested in lacrosse whether they are experienced or not and we have and will teach people who have never played before. As such our skill level varies quite a bit but we try to be a competitive B team in the PNLA.

The Eugene Lacrosse Club has for the past seven years hosted the Eugene Celebration Tournament in which teams from Portland and Seatttle have participated. The Eugene Celebration is held on the third weekend of September. Because of tax limitation measures in Oregon there was some doubt as to whether the Celebration would take place this fall, but it is going ahead as are we with plans for the eighth year of the tournament.
