2002 Preseason

Winners of last season's Everett Smith Team Sportsmanship Award, the Roughriders Lacrosse Club consists of players from Roosevelt, Blanchet and Ballard High Schools in Seattle.  The Roughriders will begin their second year with many old and new faces.  Because only 3 seniors graduated, most players return from the 2001 team.  10-12 new players have joined, which allows us to play a few JV games in addition to the varsity schedule.  Todd McGuire joins us to help Scott MacFarlane coach the Roughriders.  Kurt Preuss is the 2002 preseason team captain.

Directions to home games for 2002 Roughrider Lacrosse

Roughrider Lacrosse plays all of its home games at Wilson-Pacific field (a little north of Green Lake - north of Blanchet High School and south of North Seattle Community College). From I-5 Northbound or Southbound, take Exit 172 (North 85Th St.) and go west to the first stoplight.  Turn right on Wallingford Ave. N. (going north).  The field is at N 90Th St. and Wallingford Ave. N.  Parking is available on the north and side sides of the field.
