US U-19 Team Coming to Seattle June 29th
This week USL announced the locations to host the Men's U-19 team prior to then attending the U-19 World Championship in Coquitlam this July. Thanks to the hard work of the local chapters executive board members, Washington will be one of the five locations to host the national team (and the only west coast location).
The team will be arriving in town early during the week of June 23rd to take part in a community service project as part of their U19 team committment. The team then have a players clinic and exhibition game planned for Sunday 29th June at Mercer Island Stadium. At each exhibition, the U.S. team will play against an area/regional all-star team selected by the US Lacrosse chapter host.
The U.S. team enters this summer's tournament as the five-time defending ILF Under-19 champion with a 29-0 all-time record in U-19 international play.
