Centennial Blake Krowicki opened up scoring on Issaquah off a nice right to left jumper and his teammate Blake Lawter scored the same way right after. The Bulldogs' defense was tough on ball, pestering the Issaquah shooters. They finished out the quarter leading the Eagles 3-0. It got worse for them in the second quarter, quick face-off wins led to the Bulldogs doubling up to 6-0. Poor groundball play and some defensive breakdowns let the Bulldogs take a quick lead. The Eagles got some life after Kole Lindor picked off a pass. Kevin Powers got the ball in transition and scored to finally put Issaquah on the board. Great play from midfield face-off specialist Harrison Kreuger propelled the Bulldog blitzkrieg. Jake Fritz would give Issaquah a second goal before halftime, but the Bulldogs would be in the lead 7-2.
