RECAPS

4/8- 4/9 This weekend saw a couple key games as the season hits full stride. The first was a battle between Crease Monkeys and Bigfoot. This was a tough low scoring game but Foot was able to take advantage of the home turf and pull off a close victory 7-5.

The second game of the weekend was the much anticipated battle between the undefeated Huron and Coopers. The game ended up not being the close fought battle we thought it would, we instead saw Huron win a big game by 7 goals. Again, can they do it in the playoffs, Coopers has owned Huron in the post season.

The weekend also saw Bigfoot take care of business against Tentawon and Eugene getting the win against Tentawon on Saturday. However, Sunday was a different story for the boys from Eugene as they were crushed by Nomah 16-3. Danny Earnst and Rob Hubber both added 5 goals to get things rolling in the right direction for Nomah.

4/15 Saturday was the first of 2 regular season games between bitter rivals Bigfoot and Multnomah. Dispite Foot have a huge team, no one seemed to have an answer for Kyle Mecham in the cage for Nomah. Mecham got off to a scary start allowing 2 quick goals in the 1st but didn’t allow another until late in the 4th. During that time the Nomah offense went to work led by Rob Hubber who popped another hat trick giving him 15 goals on the season so far. This was Multnomah’s 5th straight win against Bigfoot, they will go for their 6th in just a couple of weeks. This reporter was also informed that a couple members of the Bigfoot team were nice enough to stick Dave Holler from Nomah with their bill and then leave. Way to be a class act fellas.

Saturday also saw Huron take no mercy on Tentawon beating them 17 -1…OUCH. Coopers also dropped their 2nd straight game losing to Monkeys 7-5.
