Fit for Lax featuring Jason Leneau
Walax.com introduces Fit for Lax 2.0 featuring Jason Leneau. Leneau has experienced all that Lacrosse has to offer at its highest levels, and is a fitness guru for athletes aside from himself. Winning a state championship in 1998 at Boy's Latin, ranked #1 nationally with a perfect 17-0 season, Jason went on to the University of Virginia to play Lacrosse during college. During his stint, the Cavs won two back-to-back ACC championships in '99 and '00 and the NCAA National Championship in '99. After graduating from UVA in 2002, Jason coached for Boy's Latin leading the JV squad to a Championship and the Varisty to a semi-final appearance in the same year.
In 2005, Jason moved to the west coast where he now makes his home in California. Currently, he coaches for St. Margaret's Episcopal School, and teaches science for Middle School students. He is also the Athletics instructor and the strength and conditioning coach. Also a bit of a TV star, Leneau doubles as "DIxon" the Lacrosse player on the new 90210 series. Out of season, Leneau coaches for the West Coast Starz and played for the L.A. Riptide, L.A.'s MLL Lacrosse team recently departed winning the Western Conference in 2007.
Jason teaches, coaches, and trains athletes every day. He himself, is a specimen of athleticism, and hard work, and we couldn't think of a better person to feature as the author of Fit for Lax. Stay tuned for an episode of action-packed 'Laxletic' training every week this season!
