Northshore's Holds On, Topping Puyallup in Fourth Quarter

Northshore wins the opening face-off with Taylor Wisman, and brother Foster finishes the ball with room on the run, opening the game with a double pipe past Steedman. Another unassisted goal at five minutes would be answer puyallup offered as Moser pockets one in the net to tie it up. Most of the first quarter has been changes of possession, without production until Taylor Wisman scores on a three-pass feed to the cage advancing Northshore one with three left, 2-1 Northshore. Pederson ties it again under the final minute, in an evenly-matched first quarter.

The Panthers score first on their first assisted goal as Carlson assists Ernst for the go ahead. Northshore has controlled much of the possession time, and Taylor Wisman has been a big part of it.  He scores two in a row unassisted, earning a hat trick with four minutes in the half, and the 4-3 Northshore lead. The only other goal of the half would come from the Wisman connection, as Foster feeds Taylor Wisman and Northshore's Wisman wonders have accounted for all of the points for Northshore, leading 5-3.

Puyallup comes out fired up, getting Carlson hits Morris, for a goal.  Foster Wisman comes out of the box, hits Hadley who goes hip level past Steedman leading 6-4.  Most of the third would belong to Northshore, with either Steedman, Allen or the rest of the defense stopping shots near the crease.  Northshore scores again from different suspects, Chapman beats his man to the rack and dumps an underhanded burner to score number 7.

Puyallup is desperately trying to generate some offense in the fourth, shooting on almost every opportunity until Gorey beats his man, and scores rolling the corner of the cage. 7-5 Northshore.  Gorey does it again, fighting for possession to find stand-out freshman Robert Abbott who smoothly scores number 6.  Momentum shifts again, and Hadley finds Dossett on the doorstep, breaking the game open as Taylor Wisman snatches a clearing pass for an open net, and Foster scores on a man-up to win 10-6, erupting in the last five minutes to down the Panthers.

Final score 10-6 Northshore
