Issaquah Dominates Northshore, Start to Finish
Issaquah has had a solid start, currently undefeated in league play, and without too much opposition in the first two weeks of the season. On the other hand, Northshore has played Bainbridge, Mercer Island, and now Issaquah, in the first two weeks. Quite the welcome to Division I, where Prep has had a much easier time to start. Northshore has held their own with each team, and tonight they match up against Issaquah.

In the second quarter, Director would keep command of the offense finding Jones for his first finish of the night. Northshore's Bowen Hadley picks off the new keeper's pass, and finishes one on one to keep Northshore in the game at 5-2. Director would answer back again, finding Fritz this time for a finish- 6-2 Issaquah. Goldstein continues his tear as hats fly onto the ice as he rifles between Dransfield's foot and the pipe for number 8 late in the second. Powers would assist Ben Director for number 9, and Issaquah is squarely in control at halftime.
4 minutes into the second half, Jake Director's shot on cage finds itself in the hands of Goodman, and he scoops up another re-shot for a goal. Director takes one from up top and puts in number 11. But the hits keep coming. Jones goes behind to find Fritz running around the crease alone and he scores his third of the night, and number 12 for Issaquah. Where are the Wismans? Noticably silent until Foster Wisman takes a clearing pass and fires a rocket to his brother Taylor as he places his shot off pipe near the end of third. Fritz continues where he left off, racking up number 4 on the evening courtesy of Greenhall. Issaquah ends the third quarter leading a decisive 13-3. Northshore has struggled for the small amount of possession time they earned since the first quarter, and Dransfield has already seen 43 shots. Northshore has only shot 7 times all game.
Evan Greenhall bangs in one racing Dransfield back to the cage on a broken clear with Norhshore scrating their heads. The fourth quarter would be a case of possession ball for Issaquah, as the second line comes in to manage the lead. Kevin Powers would continue the payoff scoring number 14 for Issaquah, and starting the running clock. Hamilton assists Goodman for 16 in the last two, just before Foster Wisman buries a fourth goal assisted by Dossett. Northshore did not have the ball enough on offense to make a difference in the outcome of the game, a tribute to a strong performance by Issaquah start to finish. at the end of four, Issaquah wins 16-4.
