Tonight the Stealth seeks to solidify their undefeated record against the Minnesota Swarm (1-3). The Stealth return home to face a lack luster Swarm squad. It was a game complete with excitement, fights and a six person Green Man squad. Minnesota still has not found any team chemistry enough to make them a contender. However, “any team can beat any team in the NLL,” said Stealth forward Rhys Duch. The crowd was estimated at 3,500, as the mythical season continues.

It has been 9 years since he was drafted by Calgary in 2001 making his professional debut. 2 Mann Cups, an NLL title and close to 1,000 points (WLA & NLL combined) later #42 is still doing his thing. This year Lewis Leads the league in scoring (14g) and is 4th in points (29) through 5 games. WALAX got a chance to ask Lewis a few quick questions before this weekend’s game. The Washington Stealth host the visiting Minnesota Swarm this Friday February 5th, 8pm @the Comcast arena in Everett, WA.

Vikings Victorious Over Huskies in First Outing

Bellingham, Wa. – As I drove up to Bellingham, for the first time since my arrival here in Washington, I was taking in the weather and all the pleasant smells that go along with that drive, I was contemplating the game I was going to observe. Expecting to show up and witness a repeat of last years game, I would have given Western 5 goals on the point spread still expecting the Huskies to come out on top. Well, that is a bet I’m glad I didn’t put out there, as the divisional bracketing this year of the PNCLL, into two divisions made absolutely no difference for the Division II Western Washington University Vikings squaring off against the Division I University of Washington Huskys. Even though the high school season does not start for another month, the college teams have been hard at work, and tonight’s match-up was the first competition of what is sure to line up as an exciting season.

Hey guys sorry it has been a while but I have been working on getting ready for this up coming season. It was great to be back in Seattle for a while and I was lucky enough to spend a lot of time with the Washington Stealth. I don't know about you guys but I LOVE box lacrosse. It is a great twist on our favorite outdoor game, it is only right that we bring the box world into our lives with open arms and open minds.

From the same group of kids at Queen Anne Lacrosse, came Drew Snider, Shane O'Neill, Jason Montoya and Andrew Parietti. All of which are playing Division I Lacrosse. The latest chapter in the saga includes Parietti being named captain of the 2010 season. We caught up with "AP" to get some of his thoughts about his Lacrosse career.
