Curtis Cannot Match Northshore Team Offense with Carrs
Northshore played their first Division I game tonight, against a Curtis team finishing in the playoffs for the past three years or spoiling others on the doorstep. What became clear after the first 10 minutes was, having a Landon Carr isn't enough when you have a balanced offense and two Wismans to make the difference.
Curtis jumped out to a three goal lead quickly thanks to the work from Blaisdell, Moody and Carr, but Northshore would answer back in the first quarter with Foster Wisman, and co-conspirators, Dossett and the Wisman brothers kept the game close, closing to 4-3 at the end of the first. Despite Carr's work on the ball, a defense who couldn't contain good ball movement between the Wismans, Dossett and Hadley resulted in an offensive strike that would tye the tally at halftime at 6 a piece after trailing 4-3 with 5 minutes to spare.
Beginning the second half, Curtis would score their only point before Hadley, F. Wisman and T. Wisman went to work adding FIVE points to Northshore and capitalizing on man-up offensively. At the end of the third quarter, Northshore led, 11-7.
Noticably shaken, Curtis relied on Carr to bring them back into the game. Late goals form Carr and Anderson wouldn't be enough to stop the Wismans and the rest of the Northshore offense. At the end of four, Northshore would win, 13-10 leading every step of the way after the halftime goals. Top points belong to Jake Dossett with 4 goals and 1 assist, followed by both Foster and Taylor Wisman going 3g2a on the day and Hadley adding a hat trick. Curtis would squarely rely on Landon Carr for his 5 goals, though in a losing effort. Blaisdell also had a hat trick in the contest. Based on tonight's showing, I don't think anyone will question Northshore's decision to play division I, or their ability to compete.

Curtis
was missing some vital players which would have definitely changed the outcome of the game.
Northshore over Curtis
May not have looked like it but NS had vital players that were not even close to 100% and others that were out. Not a valid argument.
vital players
your injured players would have changed the game but not necessarily changed the outcome
